Re: My '82 SB/FS build

thanks to all who responded so far!!

drop is basic right now... spindle/spring combo up front with only a flip kit/drop leafs in rear. If all goes right, it will have full air ride before it hits the street.

The center cap does NOT fit on the front wheels right now. I'm digging into that right now. The outside of the rotor (where the bearings ride in) was too big around. I ground that down so the cap fit around, but found out that the spindle cap also came out too far. They will fit eventually, just not sure how right now!!--i don't want to use wheel spacers!

here is a pic of the bed... caddy tails with a full roll pan.

before clear....

Re: My '82 SB/FS build

The paint colors are "victory red" which i believe is a Ford color. The grey is a chevy Charcol from the late 90s.. not sure of the exact name.. i'll have to dig it out.

Where is everyone getting their air suspension products from? I'll need front cups and rear bag mounts... might as well get the rear done now while the bed is off.

thats an easy one! carb is easier and i'm lazy....1. didnt want to run fuel lines to/fro the fuel tank. 2. didn't want to play with wires and tune an engine more than i drive it. 3. ive always wanted a holley double pumper<//=-dumb but true!

i have an 11 sec mitsubishi which it seems like i play w/the computer and tune more than i drive/race it....i was afraid id be the same way with the truck if i had the ability to do so.
