Why don't more of ya'll use the chat room? A few of us are in there all the time.. it's a great resource and it's real time. And it's a better way for us to meet new friends!

A chat room is a real time, open discussion area. ppl from the board pop in and out, some you'll recognise, some you won't. (I recomend putting your screen name in so ppl know who you are). Some times the discussion can get way off topic, but it is usually a fun time.

and honestly guys the only one that feels badly when you lag behind is yourself. everyone who is in chat on a regular basis went through the same thing.. some (*cough..andy..cough*) still do.

when i first went into chat, it took josh and 68swb4x4 2 weeks of helping me just to connect... yes its alot easier now, but its the same deal.. noone looks down upon, or minds going back in convo for someone learning.

the chat room can cause issues with some at times, but its pretty rare compared to the good it does. you get to know folks on a different level, you can get real time info and ideas on your projects, families and anything else.

anyway im babbling again and i want to thank albatross for posting this again and bringing it to everyones attention.

I had a great time "meeting" albatross glock 87 and the others that were there last night. It gave me some sanity to chat with them while i was working on the scout site.

now i need to go run n hide from augie.. he told me folks were in chat when i was workin and i told him i was finishing some work then goin to bed oops

I don't lag... I just don't pay enough attention to see when someone is talkin to me... or I'll be in PM with someone and not see whats goin on in the room... or paying attention to the room and not see the PM... or talkin on the phone....
