Drive shaft Question
My Blazer has 3/4 ton axle conversions with a 4" suspension lift and I believe the original drive shaft (slip style) anyone with a 4" lift replace their Drive shaft or were you able to stay with the original?

I had my rear shaft lenthened some, can't remember the exact amount but I know it was worth doing. Sorry, it was several years ago...
 Check to see how much spline you've got showing outside of the yolk, go from there. O/T, take a minute to fill in your location/where your from.  Welcome to the board.

Mine with the lift has a double cardigan drive shaft and a small t-case drop but i dont know if the drive shaft is original.

First, welcome from Seattle.
From what I've read, a 4" lift is usually borderline for needing the drive shaft lengthened. Your 3/4 ton axles may have changed the dimensions and angles enought that it may be necessary. I don't think it is very expensive, and if you are going to be out 4x4ing, you might want a little more insurance so you don't get stuck out in the woods. Post some pics of your rig when you get a chance. We all like to see pictures of new members Blazers!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I will get some pics up soon. I am almost at the paint stage for my truck I just put the engine back in it and gonna try and get her started tonight.

SUCCESS!!!
 After 2 years I am most excited to say IT'S ALIVE! got her running again tonite and she sounds awesome! I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Ok I finally got some pics
chevy 350 rebuilt with edelbrock cam and lifter set, Alum roller rockers, gear drives and Performer EPS permastar intake, edelbrock 600cfm (gonna try a 750cfm see if it's better might be to much). then my new 2004 Acura leather heated elec seats I got for $450 for set then my 2" suspension lift with new poly bushings

I admit Im new to this stuff so I may be wrong, but that's a body lift, not a suspension lift... right?

Yes that pic is of the 2" body lift. I do have a 4" suspension lift as well. My bad I see I typed it wrong I was in a hurry.

I stayed 1/2 ton with a 4 inch lift and had to have both my front and rear shafts lengthened. The guy rebuild the CV in the front, balanced, and put in all new spicer joints also and it was under $300.

I ran my stock drive shaft for years with a 4" lift. Then went 3/4 ton running gear and had a new driveshaft made that'll hold the bigger u-joint without buying the conversion u-joint. The driveshaft is the same diameter and as strong as the 1 ton version. Now my K5 is sitting on 11" of total lift, 1 ton running gear and I'm in the market for a longer driveline. I'm going to have to have HIGH ANGLE DRIVELINE make me a new one with double universal joints. You can have my old one for $100 plus shipping. I say it has less then 5K miles on it
