Re: Shaved Hood Cowl
I could see removal of outer vent holes and antenna hole but what are you going to do about wipers, or is this strictly a trailer queen rigg?

It's my 2wd ROADSTER project, no trailer queen, just a topless cruiser, and there is always rain-x in case of an emergency, 90% of the time I don't use them anyways, my wife hates it, but I see better sometimes with just the drops all over the windsheild, I know it makes no sense

Re: Shaved Hood Cowl
what about some pushin plugs or make some type of plug that later you wanted to have them, or if you sell it someone may make a coment about it or if you decide to make your wife happy...Mine complains to when I dont use the wipers, but if I did she would find something else to whine about anyways so whats the difference..

Re: Shaved Hood Cowl
I am in the process of doing the same thing. Shaving the vent holes is NOT fun.
The ant and wiper holes were a piece of cake. |

Got to get new batteries for the digital camera. I really should be taking pics of the whole thing. What I did was cut out the vents themselves and weld in rectangular panels cut from 20g steel. Not too tough, but you have to shape the panel a bit to go in and look right, as it's curved in a few directions. |
