Question about 4spd rear motor mount
started on my 72swb over 10 years ago. took the 6cyl 3spd out and installed a sbc with a 700r4. never used it and changed to a muncie 4spd. now have the muncie bolted to the auto xmember. what xmember should i be useing. i don't even know what a standard xmember looks like. any pics would help.

Its fine how you have it the stick trucks had a crossmember under the bellhousing, but no crossmember under the rear of the trans. i have swapped several over to stick, & used the auto trans crossmember......you will find it leaves more room for headers that way. crazyL
