Steel wheels larger that 15" available?

I've seen 17" "steelies" custom made by Stockton wheel before, but I was wondering if anyone makes a 16" or 17" steel wheel that looks stock and accepts the poverty/ hub cap that isn't a one off special order.

You are looking for steelies. The wheels that have been mentioned are steel wheels, but not what is meant by "steelie". Steelies are OEM-type steel wheels from when everything had hubcaps. Everything else is either a steel wheel or has a specific name such as wagon wheels,modular,d-hole,rallye,smoothie,etc. Anything other than factory sizes will be custom

That's awesome! Except,I don't see ordinary sizes listed...such as 15s

I gotta say, they offer the best looking selections of wheels I've seen lately.

They seem a bit steep to me...maybe I'm too cheep.

The 108 series in a 17X8 are: $531.86 each and $606.86 if power coated.

Back to looking for other sources....

Re: Steel wheels larger that 15" available?

Bringing this thread back up. I decided to run cpp big disk brakes and can only clear 17" or bigger now. Is there a stock 5x5 steelie style wheel out there? Would love to have a set with stock hub caps and whitewalls

Board member Hoffa had 17" steelies on his truck, but I have no idea where he got them.

I know this is an older thread but did you have to use spacers or machine out the center for the hub to fit? Or did they just bolt right on?

I think Hoffa had his custom made from factory centers and welded into 17" barrels

Wheel Vintiques make steelie's, smoothie's and rallye's in 17".

All 3 in 5 lug, and smoothie's and rallye's in 6 lug.

http://www.summitracing.com/search/p...rder=Ascending

I've got their 17" Rallye's on my '67 Impala. Excellent wheel.
