Need info on front leaf springs 72 4x4 K20

Does anybody have the specs on front leaf springs handy? Maybe a part number you may have ordered. I found one of my springs broken at the front eye, left side. I am not looking for any additional lift at this time.

I would like the dimensions to make sure I am getting the correct set. eye to eye, width, weight capacity for a normal replacement spring. And if I have to find something used, what years are interchangable, 69-72 or 71-72?

I need to order them in the morning so any help is appreciated!

According to my Hollander manual, the 64-66, 67, 68, 69-71, 72 and 73-76 are all different.

67 is 22 x 26 x 1 1/8" (encased rubber bushings and all two leaf but 3 different weights)

68 is 22 x 26 x 1 1/8" (different rubber bushings but 2 or 3 leaf)

69-71 is 22 x 22 x 1 1/8" (same bushings as '68 and 2 or 3 leaf)

For '72 it's 22 x 22 x 1 1/8" (2 or 3 leaf)

The wierd part is that it shows the dimensions ecactly the same but it also says they do NOT interchange. Have no idea why. It only lists '72 jimmy, '72 chev and GMC conv. cab trucks as interchange.

then '73 up is 23 1/2 x 23 1/2 x 1 1/8"

I've always been able to swap the springs from 68 to 72 The only difference I have seen is 2 or 3 leaf but even traded and swapped because of exactly what you are up against.

I have a 67 4X4 frame and the front springs on it are 44" just like the 69 to 72. I don't think the Hollander manual is right! I want to use the 73 and up 47" springs instead of the B52 swap but I dont know what width they are.

I can’t say for sure for the fronts but I know for sure the rears are a different width on 67-68 k-trucks. The front lengths are the same all thru the 67-72 years.
