Brake question/help

Hello guys! just wanted to ask a question about a brake set up that I am considering. I have a 66 c10 with LM7 and 4L60E and hydroboost assist. I was thinking of running disc brakes all around and purchased a proportioning valve part # 172-1361 (PV4) from performanceonline.com.....Well what do you know things changed and I'm doing disc/drum for the time being. So my question is can I run my disc/drum set up with said PV4 prop valve? or do I need to get PV2 prop valve which is the disc/drum one from POL? Second question is I purchase the Residual Pressure Check Valve for rear drums from POL any way I can use it and make it work with the PV4??

THANK YOU ALL

Re: Brake question/help

If your running a disk/disk MC. You'll need a separate residual press valve ( for the rear ). Because, it won't be built in to the MC, like a disk/drum will have.

Re: Brake question/help

I was thinking of running a Disc/Drum M/C but can I use the disc/disc proportioning valve with that MC? or would i have to get a new prop valve? or would it just be easier to run a Disk/Disc M/C to the Disc/Disc prop valve to the RPV(residual pressure valve) for the rear brakes
