Bolt size question?

I seem to have "misplaced" the bolts for my starter and need to get some new ones. I have a '69 with a 350 and SM465 transmission. Thanks

Re: Bolt size question?

I suggest getting "starter motor" bolts. They are gnurled and made for this purpose. Maybe at a wrecking yard, if you don't have any luck at a parts store.

Re: Bolt size question?

Not his. He needs regular old 3/8-16 bolts. The knurled ones fit the other type of starter.
