tranny help....please

As my other post " can you beleive my luck" here we go again.
Was driving and came to a stop sign. Truck felt like it lost a little horsepower but I really didn't think much of it. I was entering an onramp to the freeway about 3 blocks from the stop sign and out of nowhere it was like the tranny went to neutral. No noise no clunk no nothing, just no gears. I've check all the normal stuff linkage, oil, rearend, transfercase. I'm sure it's in the tranny.
act's kinda link the tork converter doesn't have any oil in it. The truck locks in park, but from there on its neutral through all he gears.

Whatcha guys think?

Thought id write this post before i pull everything out, to get some suggestions.
Thanks

Re: tranny help....please

Try replacing the modulator valve. The brass looking thing on side of trans that has a vaccum line hooked to it. My 70 had sat for a while went to drive it up the street it started and then would go in anything expect L1. My dad said to try that otherwise something had come apart in tranny. Good Luck
