universal tranny linkage plate
72 chevy c10. saginaw 3speed.
im trying to find a replacement linkage plate...the plate tht bolts into the tranny. thats connect to the linkage arm. im having trouble finding them on the internet. does autozone or an o'riellys or napa carry them. one is severly worn on my truck and causing it to get stuck in gear...... i drove 5miles home the other night in first gear, hada take the neighborhood streets to get home!! they r those universal linkage plates tht come wit a floor shifting kit. my truck is convertd to 3 on the floor,,,,instead of the tree! thx 4 the help! |

If you mean like in the pic just search on ebay for 3 speed shifter. This one is a Mr. Gasket. Hurst also has them. You got a pic of yours.

speedway motors has some nice billet ones. you are talking about the shifter arms right.

I apologize for jacking the thread, but geezer#99, what year is your truck? I see you have a "short" SM318 which appears to be stock and I am trying to find out what year trucks used those. Thank you.

Reread your original post. Do you mean the arm that bolts onto your tranny. It uses one bolt to attach it and has multiple holes in it to hook the linkage arm to it. If that's what you need I have a couple.
