Wheel/Control Arm Clearance Question

Are there any known clearance issues using:
cpp 2" drop spindles
stock control arms
Disc brake conversion
with 15" wheels
1.5" or 2" drop coil springs

Wanting to use stock steel wheels if possible, knowing I may have to change to the later 5 lug wheel for brake clearance. Especially want to rule out any clearance problems with this set-up before proceeding with stock control arm paint and rebuild.

Re: Wheel/Control Arm Clearance Question

I ran a set of the 2.5" drop spindles on stock 15" 1965 wheels but had to run spacers to clear the cast Calipers....

Re: Wheel/Control Arm Clearance Question

It depends on the 15" wheels backspacing.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
