Re: 3/5 drop questions

prolly the easiest way I've found for that kind of drop to date... Is a flip kit in the rear, and 2.5" coil drop in the front.

no pics, wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to many to filter through.

But the great thing is that you have many options on what way you want to drop it.

Cheapest is not best. A coil spring drop for the front will cost less, but you will lose suspension travel. A spindle drop allows you to use stock shocks and keep your full suspension travel. If you want to go lower, then you start using drop coils.

A flip kit should be fine for the back. The amount of drop is dependent on the thickness of your springs. More leaves = more drop. It might not end up exactly where you want it. Folks who have done a flip kit should be able to give you a good ide of how much drop you'll get if you tell them how many leaves you have.

I bought my parts at performancesuspension.com. No complaints. You might also look at the parts Summit Racing sells. They seem very reasonable.

Western Chassis and DJM parts get good reviews here on the site.

quick question:

im getting all DJM, "i live about 5 blocks from them" i dont want to go with the dropped spindle, due to the fact i plan on using my rallys...and dont want any grinding or rubbing... so im going with the LCA, and the dropped coil... will those provided good suspension travel?

Re: 3/5 drop questions

LCA's are fine, I ran them on my truck for years.
