Drop spindle question
Does every drop spindle narrow your tire width so that it brings the wheel in more so the wheel doesn't rub against feeder? (Sorry I put it in complicated terms but I hope someone knows what I mean)

Re: Drop spindle question
Think they all are the stock type offset, there are some vendors that sell shorter control arms for that.

Re: Drop spindle question
The only spindles that I know of right now that claim they narrow the track width would be Modular Spindles that are sold by CPP ..... How much is still in Question. I was told by Jeff at CPP 1/2'' per side but I have not verified that. We are becoming a dealer for CPP .

Re: Drop spindle question
Pulling the wheels inward doesn't seem to be necessary to me. I have had no problems with the available wheel offsets, in fact sometimes the wheels are a little too far inward anyway. Just a side note, I wouldn't believe much of what CPP says as they usually play word games just to sell product, at least that's been my experience with them. I guess their so call modular spindle is ok if you want 13" or larger rotors but the factory 12" is plenty for me-no need for over price spindles that you have to buy additional brackets and hubs, gets very pricey. The GM 12" rotors that are used on other drop spindles are readily available and not that expensive, plus you can buy them at any auto parts store.

Re: Drop spindle question
I would contact Boris of Street Machinery, Ohio. He's a stand up guy and can hook you up. He builds lots of these trucks and knows his stuff. He's a vendor here, don't know his member name, isn't there a sponsor list?
