When to use front shock relocators?

I just got some 3 inch front drop springs for my 1970, to go with my 5 inch rear drop springs. I had to relocate the rear shocks - so my question is do I need to relocate my fronts? I can't find a definite answer on here, I have everything ready to install.

Is there a certain amount of drop with springs that you need relocators? Or will I be okay with stock location?
