Project SlammedC10 -Back From The Dead

I finally got back to work on my truck again after almost 2 years. I got the truck when 14 and worked on it for 2 years off and on until i moved away. It sat in storage until recently. In the last week i have started bagging it. Let me know what you think.

Re: Project SlammedC10 -Back From The Dead

Its got a 350 w/ a 700r4 that i put in when i started the project. But I am seriously considering a gen III 6.0 w/ a 6 speed. Ive got the hook up for parts cause i work at the salvage yard so it will hopefully happen. Every things new except the chassis and cab. 2600 firestone bags, a big compressor and heavy duty industrial valves. It almost lays the cross members as is. It scrapes lightly on the floor in the shop. I plan on sectioning the crossmembers [trailing arm and front], using drop spindles, and modifying my lower control arms by plating the bottoms as i saw somewhere here.
I'll get more pics tommorrow.

Re: Project SlammedC10 -Back From The Dead

welcome back!

looks like a good start although i'd fish plate those notch welds and cut that box tubing out and put some 1 1/2" dom in there just for the appearence factor.
