Lower Trim Questions

I found some used lower trim. I am not sure how much to offer the guy. he said it is in good condition besides the end of one piece. He did say that someone did a poor job on painting the lines green. I can use some lacquer thinner to get it off I would think. He also has a good tailgate band with the Chevrolet lettering and a roll of new wood grain vinyl. How much would be reasonable to offer him. He sent me a picture of the lower trim, I will attachit to the post. He thinks it is for a SWB, How can I know for sure? Measurements?

On a side note he said he may be willing to let go of a good working tach dash. He said everything is in good shape but a new bezel would make it real nice. What would that be worth?

So what would you guys say is fair for

1) Lower trim
2) Tailgate band
3) Wood grain vinyl
4) Tach dash

Re: Lower Trim Questions

Lower trim pictured maybe $25-$30. Needs work and not complete. You will have to measure the box pieces to determine if it is short or long bed.
Tailgate trim and vinyl are hard to say without more info or pics...
A "good working" Tach dash needing a bezel is $150- $225 There again, need more info. Any rust on the gauges? Printed circuit good? V-8?

Re: Lower Trim Questions

This is what the guy had to say about the tach and tailgate band. Hope this can help with some rough prices.

"It is a Chevy tach dash out of a 1969 pickup, but will work in any 67-72 Chevy/gmc(V8). Was in great working order when I pulled it out a couple years ago, I've been holding on to it with hopes of finding another truck, but now it’s time to clean out the garage. The Bezel is in ok shape the gauges and lettering is great.

The tailgate band is in good condition and the vinyl looks great, never opened, but 10 years old."
