GMC Camper Buckets

Came across these bucket seats near me. It says they are out of a 1970 GMC camper. Guy wants $30 for them. Would the frames be same as C10/K5 buckets. The top of the seats look different and would also need to source the frames. Would be going into a 1970 C10.

Thanks
Frank

Re: GMC Camper Buckets

I actually have two campers and the seats don't look like that to me. Mine are from a 69 and 72. The only thing I noticed right off the bat was the way they were mounted. 69 had a pivot mount and the 72 was bolted to weird sliders. Both motorhomes are Open Roads brands. They would not be straight bolt ins for a C-10. The Open Roads place added plywood under the seats to center them in the cab. Mine still have the Vinyl on them. You would have to have the K5 brackets and fab them to these. Can post a picture if you want.

Re: GMC Camper Buckets

They wou;d look great in one of these trucks. Are you going for an all original look or just want bucket seats that will look right? For that price it would be work buying or making your own mounts. I never adjust my seat, so passenger side fixed mounts work for both sides for me. EZ to make those
