77 Chevy Custom Deluxe Stepside

Hey everyone! This looks like an awesome site, and it looks like I came to the right spot. I just bought a 77 custom deluxe stepside, and not 10 minutes after I got it, it started dumping coolant from the back of the engine, just below the valve cover. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to engine work, so any ideas of what might be wrong, and how long and how much its gonna cost me would be great. I'll post some pics of it as soon as I get this squared away. Thanks!

Re: 77 Chevy Custom Deluxe Stepside

Thanks for the help guys. Just outta curiousity, how difficult is it to replace a freeze plug, especially in the rear of the engine. Seems like it might be a little awkward. Thanks again everyone!
