Correct part numbers - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey group was driving my 14 year olds 72 1/2 ton (chevrolet) when the passenger side exhaust manifold broke in half with the lower side still connected to the exhaust pipe, what a terrible racket. Just blew apart. Well anyway need to get a used one and was wondering if anyone of you knows what the correct GM part number is for the passenger side exhaust manifold. Any Ideas?

Just maybe I would have gotten a reply if I gave all the information. Sorry about that.....The numbers I'm looking for (Passenger side exhaust manifold) are to a 350 cu/4 barrel, auto with air. hope this brings some replys.......Joe

Is that the straight dump ramhorn or the type that curves back?

Americanrider thanks for the reply . The manifold looks to be ramhorn style and the brace for the compressor bolts to the manifold near the bottom not from the top......................Joe

Here are some repro. rams horn manifolds on ebay. I don't believe GM makes them anymore. 2WD pickups use a angled dump where it hooks up to the stock "Y" pipe. These have the air injection holes for smog stuff. Occasionally you will find good originals on ebay.

Take the manifold off and look for the casting number. Unless you are sure that the engine is original you need another one like the one that's on it so you don't have to modify the exhaust to make it fit. Good luck.

Thanks vettevet, the original engine is still in the truck and the Number on th e manifold is 3905364 RH....someone told me that these motors are know for cracking manifolds....any truth to that. Am looking for an original part to replace the broken side..............Joe....By the way I own a l79 65 corvette coupe

it's not so much that the casting is weak, but it IS 34 years old.
