Header ?

I'm wanting to redo my exhaust and would like to put on shorter headers. I'm currently running full length headers and I want to tuck everthing up in the frame and through the rear cross member for a cleaner look. What are you guys running for shorties or 3/4 length headers ? Advice, part #'s or pic's would be great.

Well, i have ful length headers on mine and there is no way they will rub, even with my weak sagging front springs. As we speak, I have it loaded over capacity, and I have to creep over speed bumps to keep my hitch from carving lines in the pavement, but my headers have yet to smack the ground. Hooker Super Comps.

Headers

Well it depends. If you have a weed burner like I do, the full lenght header won't do. I tried the shorty header. I have a set of ceramic coated shorties hanging in my garage now because I can't use them without modifying my motor mounts. I have a 68 short wide. So I just went and bought a set of new cast iron Ram exhaust with the 2 1/2 outlets from the Chevy Dealer. This way I can install my exhaust above the trans cross member and won't be wearing out my exhaust on speed bumps.

I have a 3/5 drop on the longhorn,& also run full lenght hooker headers & havent scraped anything. For the guys that are really slammed, the 3/4 lenght chevelle header should work . you need to talk with Shane or Ruemster, I think they are both running a dynomax 3/4 lenght header. I cant help with the part#, but they look like they fit nicely. Crazy longhorn
