Towing Capacity
Hey, I have a 2009 Silverado quad cab Z71. Is there a way i can tell the towing capacity? I looked at the manual and I don't know how to tell the style I have regarding the towing capacity

Your truck should have the exact information for your configuration on a sticker along the edge of the door.

I looked at the radiator and it looks like I have a Trans cooler on the front of it or something that looks like a cooler. But is there any way to tell for sure like the vin # or something

Chris are you sure that wasn't the AC condenser? I am not certain, but I think they put a condenser in front of the radiator.

Could be don't know. Just thought there would be a code in the vin or something that would tell me. Maybe I will call the dealer

If it has a factory 2" receiver & 7-pin trailer light/brake hook-up.....It has a towing package.
