In Bed Cargo Box .... ?

I would like to be able to store some 'necessaries' in a small cargo box shaped or built into the area in front of the passenger side wheel well. It shouldn't extend into the 4 x 8 bed area, just wide enough to be equal to, or thinner than the wheel well covering itself. This box would fit under the top bedrail, and back against the inner bedside. Lock on the lid.

Back in 'the day', I recall some companies actually made boxes like this that were both water tight on top, and secure from theft. Does anybody know if there is such an animal still made for our 67-72 bed shape?

Short of making one myself, which I don't want to do (sheetmetal work not my strong point), I'd like to get some ideas from you guys.
