Exclamation Tn. - Wtb Running 250 I6

Blew A Had Gasket Yesterday On My 70 P/u 15 Minutes After Chevye
(Eric) And I Had Lunch And I Deceided I Was Gonna Keep Her, She Has
468,000 Miles On Her So I Personally Think It Is Pointless To Even
Rebuild Her (She'd Been Knocking A Lil For Last 2 Years - Wrist Pin)
Looking To Buy A 250 I6 Close To Here, Can Be Used And Abused, I'd
Prefer Not To Buy A Fresh Rebuild, Just A Runner, And I Know This
Sounds Tacky, But As Cheap As Possible Please, Thank You, Luv.

I have one in WNC if you are willing to drive a couple of hours. Not sure about the mileage- but it runs good has consistently 45 ps oil pressure, no smoke and it has a newer water pump, points, fuel pump, and coil. It does not have a carb, everything else including starter and clutch/bellhousing goes with it. It is ready to pull all it needs is to be lifted out....$100 PM if you are interested. Harold

Almost Any Part That Is Not With It Can Be Taken Off Mine, So No
Big Deal There, Getting It Here Would Be The Issue, Now I Have No
Truck, Yesterday I Found A I6 Hei At A Junk Yard, Was Going To Go
Back And Get It Until This Happened, Your Price Is Great, Logistics
Of Getting It Here Would Be A Major Issue, I'll Keep You In Mind.

Yard is open 8-5 ( M-F ) and 8-? ( SA ) closing time depends on how busy
they are on that particular day, CHEVYE found a swaybar there yesterday,
I have a set of 69-72 Cali front fenders, Eric said they were in very good
shape for OE, Have a 71-72 hood, a set of CST lenses ( complete ) that
are driver quality, a set of 72 window regulaters, extra set of door hinges,
and that is just off the top of my head, what are you looking for exactly

*Your doors are set aside for whenever you get here to pick them up.

v8 swap would be the easiest. especially since you have the th350 already. if cost is the thing, i`d get a 305. you can find a good 305 for $100 all day long. i`ll help you put it in.

i said a 305 for no more reason than the cheapness. i`ve been thinking about "total cost", i figure a good 305 complete would be around $150-$200. exhaust would be around $120-$150. motor mounts would be around $30. you`d also need a radiator, i`ve got 2 laying around here (cheap). that`s about all i can think of right now.

EVEN ON THE LOW SIDE, UR FIGURES SAY ABOUT $300, I'M GONNA HAVE TO
SLEEP IN THAT SOB IF I SPEND $300 ON IT WHEN "GQ" IS STILL IN GARAGE
IN A MILLION PEICES AWAITING MORE MONEY, TIME, AND PARTS.
