Highest quality cast iron water pump.
I am looking for a high-quality cast iron long water pump for my 75 C10 with a 350.
Last year someone here recommended the EMP Stewart Stage 1 pump. Are there any other recommend cast iron water pumps? Thanks Ron.

Following. I'd like to go ahead and be proactive and replace my factory 87 pump on my 454 when I do intake swap. Another square forum seemed to be of the consensus that a high flow or "HP" water pump wasn't necessary. Being that I'm gonna tow some, and given the temps here in AL, I want all the cooling system tip top shape..

496BB I ended up purchasing #CWP-490HD water pump from Autozone for 101.99 +tax. This was the nicest looking water pump i have ever seen it has a black coating inside and outside. The pully surface is machined and looks great.

I bought a Stewart Stage 1 over 20 years ago and will buy nothing else for a Big Block. Before that my 1992 K2500 Burb would run so hot you would burn yourself trying to open the hood - freeing up the exhaust with an Edelbrock TES and high-flow converter and muffler helped but still ran too hot. Put on a Stage 1 water pump and 180* t-stadt, had to put a 195 t-stadt back in to get heat.
