Post split rim to tubeless rim

I have a 67 C-30 dump with split rims in not so good shape. What (dually) tubeless rims will fit correctly? Thanks in advance.

I would think just about any 8 bolt dually wheel would fit well, but i don't know about the later models, something about metric studs and smaller hubs.

I believe you have half inch studs on your 67 truck. At least my 66 C30 has them. The wheels for mid 80's trucks will fit. The important part is the size of the hub pilot hole which actually centers the wheel. These wheels are designed for 9/16" studs but I put them on my truck. You could attempt to use spacer between the studs and the wheels but why bother. They do not center the rims the hub pilot does. The stud nuts are there to make sure the wheel doesn't come off. Look at your lug nuts. I think you have the nut that is flat on the back side which contacts the rim and are split on the outer edge to provide a anti backoff feature.

those are the wheelnuts he will have, the locking flat ones, most all 70-older have 1/2" studs and most all 71-up are 9/16" studs

Yes, they are 1/2" with split nuts. Did you use mid 80's Chevy, or just measure the hole I.D. and off to the junkyard? What about the offset of the rim?

Unfortunately mine doesn't have the original 327.

Thanks Kip

I borrowed a friends spare from his mid 80's truck to check size and found a set of four on ebay for sale. Cost $105 but shipping killed me. I went to the junkyard but wasn't happy with anything they had available. The one my friend let me borrow was bought new from GM dealer. I think I may have some more info on my computer andd I'll see if I can e-mail it sometime soon. I think that Firestone was the manufacturer off alot of the rims and finding info on old numbers is a little hard. Talk to you later.
