A real survivor found
Hello, I am a new member to this site. My father and I are Mopar guys, however we have had a lot of 69-72 chevy trucks. Long story short and pics to come soon, we knew of a 1972 chevy cheyenne 20 sittin in a shed for the last 30 years. We knew it was a crazy low miler and orginal 1 owner. The man that purchased it new died quite some time ago and his widow would not sell the truck. She recently passed away and their daughter sold the house and a very nice low miler 73 impala as well. Needless to say my father was first in line and bought the truck. In a word WOW. Its a 72 cheyenne 20.. orche w /white top, black interior. 11,160 miles. Original from front to rear. AMAZING truck. Its a cheyenne with no A/C, and manual steering. 350/400/ eaton rear. Tailgate was removed when new and stored. I ve never seen something so original and nice. Literally a time capsule...This truck is the reason I found this site and registered. I know you will all love this thing. Keep you posted..,

Re: A real survivor found
Welcome!! Sounds like a great truck.Seems this isn't your first project either. So as you get a chance, you might post some of those Mopar Muscle projects over in the "Alternate Tinkerings" section. Most of us are really "car guys" with a major intrest in the trucks, though we enjoy all cool old iron.Besides.I admire a guy who builds things from "Unobtainium".Meaning Mopar parts is rare though starting to become more widely reproduced.
