If it a street/strip truck a spool is fine if you know how to drive. I had a friend that was gonna buy a 31 spline 9 inch with a posi unit and was planning on beating on it. For the same price he got 35 spine axles and a spool. He bought his from a guy on eBay and we went 1.42 sixty foot times on a 275/60 15 drag radial in a first gen camaro.
