Will they fit ?
I was wondering if 73-87 chevy ball joints will fit into the a-arms of my 66 c-10. The reason that I ask is because I am doing a budget disc brake conversion and I know that the ball joints are different, but I do not know what dimensions are different about them. Is it just where they mount up to the spindle that the difference lies, or is it where they fit on the a-arms. Please help so I know what ball joints to buy.
thanks. ![]() |

Re: Will they fit ?
Yes they will. Seen this kit in classic parts. They use stock a-arms for this kit and replace the ball joints. Check out the description.. Not sure what is needed to change them, but i know they will fit. Just remember youll probably have to change your tie rod ends as well.http://www.classicparts.com/1963-70-...info/71-978D5/

Re: Will they fit ?
Ok sounds great. I already have new 66 inner ends but I hear that cpp has a sleeve that will allow me to use the 66 inner ends with the 73 up outer ends.
