1/2 ton to 3/4 ton swap ?'s

Could anyone tell me what is involved in swapping out these axles? Going from a Dana44 front to the same but 8 lug, Rear is 12 bolt going to Dana 60. This is a suburban.

I think as long as you have leaf spring rear, it should bolt in. You will need new U-bolts, and possibly brake lines.

Easy swap over, was done to the 71GMC, except I needed to custom make some new drive shafts, the springs were re-arched to achieve a 4-5" lift, and the brake lines are still too short (including e-brake).
