How many teeth are on your gear? I have an extra 4 speed from a 3/4 ton but I thot it was 4.57 or so. Can the internal worm gear be changed? Not sure how they work on the old 4 speeds.

I'm not exactly sure as someone has removed both of the gears out of this transmission.
