68 front clip on a 69?
I was looking at the new issue of Classic Trucks and saw that phat ass 72 Chevy with a 68 clip. I think by far the best front end is the 68 front. how hard is it to put a 68 nose on a 69? I am hoping it is a matter of just changing the grille.
Second I wanted to pass along to everyone that I tried the roll on herculiner and found it to be a great product. i did two coats in my long bed and still had enough to use as an undercoating for under the cab.

Youd have to change the fenders, grill , gravel pan , radiator support and hood . That is just about the whole front end.

Easiest way is to do the whole front clip...less work and your sure to get it all in one quick swap.

The F^cking gravel pan is the F^cking sheetmetal piece in front of the F^cking radiator and below the F^cking grill. Its what you set your beer on when working on the engine.

LOL, the front clip is easy to change though. like 8 bolts after you've removed the cowl and wiring and stuff

You just want to be sure to move your beer off the gravel pan while swapping clips.....so you dont spill it....

The '69 - '72 GMC fenders are the same as the '68 Chevy.

So Longhorn. If I wanted a fender for a 67. Could I buy a 69-72 GMC fender and fill the marker light right? Is anything GMC equivalent to a 67 chevy?
Thanks Brandon |

has anyone seen a 67-72 truck with the 67-68 grill and hood with the top and bottom moldings like the 69-72 chevy has down the side? Wonder what it would look like?
