Some may remember this truck from http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=3683603 truck's a 1970 3/4 ton 8 lugger exfleetside. Well, now it's painted and ready for the powertrain! engine it's a 383 gm performance with vortec heads, we're looking at the edelbrock's inyection sistem also. Transmission will be the same (until it breaks), calipers and rotors are from blackbird customs and the bed from american classic. Let's see what you guys think!

Looking good man. I have to say, I really like the view in your shop...wish I had those windows..might keep me from getting so claustrophobic in my garage!

I love 4wd Stepsides! They just scream cool! I'd like to convert my '72. Is that pain t dry yet in the picture?

Thanks for the replies! one thing i have to mention is that the oak wood from the bed is craking all over :S, ill post some pics to see what you guys think.

Where in Costa Rica do you live? I lived a short while south of Orosi a long time ago. Maybe try a native wood for the bed? Oak doesn't like dry/wet cycles much

Orosi is a beautiful place! I live in San Isidro, Heredia, this is 15km north from the capital city San Jose. Bad news about the wood though....

Actually this truck lived all his life working in a coffee plantation! 70k kms in farm work!

Excellent. You've got to love a truck that has drum brakes that are so big there's no need to convert to discs.
