TX 72 C10 Cab for Sale

Cab for sale. Needs a little work but all in all a very strong cab with little rust to repair. I started on it but had another cab that was in even better condition. Needs a couple small patches in the floor but most is just surface rust. Comes with clear title. Asking $550.00 OBO.

If I were using this cab I would replace passenger rocker (included with cab) and a couple small patches between floor and rockers were these cabs are bad about rusting. Poor design that can be easily corrected by cutting out and welding new piece in. Like I said, it is a very strong cab. I just don't need two.

About 99% of the time these cabs need both outer rockers due to not being painted on the inside and they rust inside out. Does it need just an outer or inner as well? Some detailed photos will help with your sale, such as inside above the visors, drip rails, firewall and underside areas such as cab supports. I live nw of austin and dont have the time to come all the way to SA only to find its in the same shape as what i already have.

Also is the vin/ title a 1/2 ton 3/4 ton, 2wd 4x4, 6 or 8 cyl? (CS1, KE2, etc)

I'll add some more shots of the cab in the areas you mentioned tomorrow if it has not already sold. Two other on local Craigslist interested as well. There is no rust at all in the upper portion of the cab and both inner and outer rocker are included but I don't believe the inner needs to be changed out. Cab is a 72 GMC, 1/2 ton RWR, ID TCE142S513541. I have title in hand from previous owner.

Can you give me a width and length measurement on the cab?
I'm working around Gonzales right now and i'd like to pick it up, but i dont have my trailer with me. kinda hoping i could strap it in my truck bed. Probably wishful thinking!

A cab will fit in a swb truck. I had one in back of a 71 c10 for couple years. BUT it will have to be sat down in it, due to the fact the hump area will have to straddle the wheel tub !!! Can't slide it in. Best I remember.

Thanks for the info STP67-72. Ive got an 08 F-250 SWB, so i hope it'll fit it sure would save me some fuel not having to go get my trailer. thanks again!

Cab is 4' 10" X 6' 4"

Should fit sideways in your truck bed.

I sold a 72 cab a few years ago and the new owner had an 07 or 08 chevy swb and the cab fit sideways. He even got the tailgate up!
