1982 Chevrolet Blazer Custom K3500 Dually

Don't know if this has been posted yet or not. I think it's "unique".

Very nice. Minus the hood scoop. I wonder how much the reserve is.

I like Blazers. I like duallys. I can't say as though I really like Blazer duallys, even if it is the "official whoop your damn ass truck".

It looks kinda silly. Looks like it got squished. I can see doing the phantom dually look on a truck or suburban, but why put that actual drivetrain into a stubby little Blazer?

Weird.

I wish the fool who posted it knew the correct usage of the C & K designations... I was much more interested when I thought it had at Dana 60 up front.

I think he called it a K3500 because all Blazers and Jimmys are K-models...no C/5s and his is now a 3500. I'd be no more excited if it was a 4wd,which would be just as silly and worthless as this one. Some people just get all caught up in the dually thing. I did years ago, until I came around to,it's great if you need it/leave it alone if you don't. I needed a heavy duty truck, but those extra wheels and tires are just an added expense and the extra width is a real pain. The Blazer looks cool and all,but I'm a form follows function guy and I don't see the function.

I thought this was going to be a repeat post of the one over in the Blazer/Jimmy/Suburban message board where this post belongs. He's the other one:

Re: 1982 Chevrolet Blazer Custom K3500 Dually

1-ton suspension doesn't make it a 1-ton. There are frame differences as well.
Maybe this one is a C-2250, maybe a C-2750. But it ain't a C-3500.
And why convert a 2WD?
Pass.

Looks ok ,but it dosn't help with weight or pulling safety,as mentioned the frame would be a prob
as for the dually wheels ok ,but if you want to pull up close to the deck
might be a prob
