one piece window help???

here's my problem bought a window kit supposed to be new but is missing the brackets to modify the rear window channel. Now i put the new glass and old glass side by side and it appears to be the same shape and size at rear so why would the channels need to be modified?

I think the angle that they roll up and down is different. If it's the Brother's kit, give them a call. I have always been pleased with their customer service.
