I'm needing some help...

It's about 30 degrees out right now, I go to crank up my truck and after pumping it furiously as I always do in the cold, it fires up.....however......it is screaming like the pedal is to the metal and I can't get it to stop. The throttle cable isn't stuck, nor the pedal. What could be causing this?

Check the choke or sticking butterflies.

Re: I'm needing some help...

Ya know, if the choke and everything is set up right, it should take one pump of the pedal to set the choke, turn the key, and you're running at high idle. I have no choke right now, so I have to pump several times... might wanna consider some adjustments.
