I assembled an engine crane. Didn't do anything to the truck directly.

Hooked up stock radio with 2 nos front speakers and 2 universal rear 4 x 10 speakers from this guy http://www.turnswitch.com/speakers.htm

They fit in the stock brakets perfect. Radio sounds ok for stock.

Re: What did you get done 11/21/2010

Learned how to R&R the inner door panel on our Saturn 3-door coupe, electric window got stuck in the down position Thursday. Fixed. (thanks to 'you tube' actually)

Last week-end of this year that I'm wasting fuel for mulching leaves. Also was the last and final run of this year for firewood with the truck and trailer Saturday. Today stacked wood in the crib and our garage in preparation for the beginning of winter. Still have a trailer to unload sometime.

Looking forward to a long Thanksgiving week-end off from the day job! Hope to start cleaning up the C-30 engine this week. Still gathering parts for the upcoming fuel delivery system rehab project with a refreshed engine compartment. Always something to do or I'd be dead.

Re: What did you get done 11/21/2010

I worked yesterday so I didn't get much done. Today I rewired a Bro-in-laws utility trailer because his dog hate the harness up. After that I spent some time organizing all the parts I bought last week. Later I pulled the seat in my 77 so I could remove the Ride Tech E3 ECU. It is going back to Ride Tech for updates.

I sold the 12 bolt, and wiring harness kit. I listed a pair of 73-80 fenders- LINK

Re: What did you get done 11/21/2010

Took a trip to the pik-n-pull in San Antonio and made out well. Got a dang near mint dash pad for my Jimmy. It's dusty but there are no cracks, no scratches, nada. Heck of a deal for $15 bucks. Got a factory floor mat for the front of the cab, some assorted aluminum trim pieces and a nice glove box. All in all pretty successful trip.

centexan - were the yards in San Antonio any good overall?

Got the 87 running again. Nice and smooth. Timing was slightly off. Smooth as silk now!

Degreased and powerwashed the 2WD Frame for the 74 Jimmy Conversion

I only went to the pik-n-pull today and it was ok. There a lot of square bodies, but pretty picked over. I just luck out when I go. Last time I went I got a center console like the two you have for your 74. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I haven't ever been to any of the other ones. Are they pretty good too?

Pulled the cluster out and replaced all the dash lights so I can see my speedometer, oil pressure, volts, and engine temp at night! Of course, now my tachometer doesn't light up.
