Rams horn exhaust manifolds for 67' C10

I ordered a set of straight dump Smoothie Rams Horn exhaust manifolds from Classic Industries. I spoke to one of the techs and gave him all the specs for my truck and he assured me they would work for my truck (2wd). I checked the cross member and there looks to be enough room. I have a great exhaust shop here in town that is going to install them with a Magnaflow dual exhaust. Does anyone have photos of their truck with these type of exhaust manifolds?

Your engine mount towers appear to be in the front holes.
I am interested to see if straight dump manifold will work.

I have put straight dump 2.5 manifolds on every 60-72 truck I have owned. 2x4, 4x4, truck, burb and blazer. They work fine with NO issues at all. Drivers side has to turn a little sharp as soon as you exit the manifold but any exhaust shop worth a hoot can make the turn. No pictures on hand.

Re: Rams horn exhaust manifolds for 67' C10

Got a call from my exhaust shop today. Happy to report that the straight dump manifolds fit great with no issues. I am picking up the truck tomorrow, so I will post some photos then. For those interested, these silver ceramic coated manifolds were $209.99 through Classic Industries and they were delivered in less than a week.

What crate engine did you go with?

I also have been eyeing these manifolds.

Re: Rams horn exhaust manifolds for 67' C10

Hey Steve, I will let him know. Jason, I put in a Chevy Performance crate 350/290hp. Went through FH Dailey Chevrolet in San Leandro, Ca. I love the engine, plenty of power, no complaints so far (installed in October).

Off topic but had to chime in here. I'm in Pittsburgh PA now but used to live right in Concord California. I guess pretty much behind where you're from. Small world. Haha. I was in the military housing that bordered the weapons station fields.

Well, it was but has seemed to finally turn to winter all of a sudden. Single diget night temps and twenties during the day.

Re: Rams horn exhaust manifolds for 67' C10

i'm curious what the difference in your exhaust sound is between the 2. the 1st pic looks like you had long tubes. are the manifolds the only thing that you changed or did you change mufflers also. i looked at the classic cataloge on line but did not see any ram horns. do you know off hand if they have them for a big block and was that 209 a pair or each...

Re: Rams horn exhaust manifolds for 67' C10

Not sure if they have them for Big Blocks. They were $209.99 for the pair. I used to have long headers and a 3" exhaust. I changed to exhaust manifolds and a 2.5" Magnaflow dual exhaust with 18" mufflers. The sound is a smooth deep tone, way better than what I had before.
