Exclamation Who wants to play, HOW...STOCK...IS SHE? (pictures)

OK, so I was told this truck is as stock as they come. The interior seems to be all original, but I don't know much about the stuff thats under the hood. I'm hoping you all can help me out. Please let me know if this is the real deal. The alternator is about the only thing I can see that doesn't look the part.

Re: Who wants to play, HOW...STOCK...IS SHE? (pictures)

I like it a lot!

Though the fuel line has been butchered, and should for safety sake be returned back to hard line IMO.

You have a nice time capsule there that looks original from the pics.

Vectorit, Thank you for the comment. That is exactly the stuff I want to know. Is it difficult to get it back to the way it should be? Thanks again.

Attached are few more interior pics.

You can get a new line from somewhere like LMC or any parts supplier for those trucks.

Can't be a 72, rearview mirror is on the roof, not windshield.

Door panels give it away as a '71,too. You are correct on the glovebox badge, though.

Under the hood I just see the fuel filter, oil cap,and vacuum can on the carb. Your hose clamps are original.
Now can we see pictures of the whole truck? It looks to be a true gem.

Looks like a really clean unmolested truck -- very nice. Need more pics!

Aftermarket rear bumper? Maybe a step bumper? Mounting brackets appear welded from slabs of steel... and there's a wire with a crimp-connector back there, maybe some backup lights were added?

Re: Who wants to play, HOW...STOCK...IS SHE? (pictures)

It is pretty original. The oil cap and gates rad hose, the fuel line and the 72 super emblem- according to cab/mirror mount the cab is a 71. The alt obviously been replaced as stated and check the date codes on plug wires. With the exception of the super emblem which raises some question, the rest is common stuff that would be replaced with regular maintainence. Nice looking truck.

Re: Who wants to play, HOW...STOCK...IS SHE? (pictures)

so, the glove box door emblem is not correct. That really scares me that she is not the real deal. Either way its still a cool truck. Thank you everybody for all the insight. It is much appreciated.

Do you have any pics of the steering wheel? I can't tell for sure, but it looks questionable.
