Smile

The option list is too blue and I would hope that the factory would spell vacuum and chrome correctly, (not vacuume and crome).

I agree, the type itself doesn't quite look right...

And did they really spell "vacuume" that way?

It sure looks fake and seems the owner is trying to load up on options. Why he stopped at AM push button radio instead of upgrading to AM/FM, I don't understand...:p

I would agree with the others. It looks like it was typed with a type writer. I noticed it right away when I looked at that auction earlier. It also needs some french-fry/hamburger grease stains and pop can stains to look really authentic.

The "special promotion" thing would be the Highlander?

Was the vacuum gauge available on the C/10's is 72?

A lot of those options are part of the Cheyenne/CST package and shouldn't be listed by themselves I think.

I wish I could just print out my option sheet and as if by magic they would appear.

I guess I don't have a problem with it as long as he's clear as to what he's done. It looks like a nice truck anyway.

Its a nice truck but the option sheet is made up. It might have those options but others have already said its done wrong and it is done wrong. No way a Cheyenne and CST option on same page... come on. He should have come to these boards...lol. I would have helped... geez its a nice truck. Also wrong alternator bracket for a 72 truck. I guess I'm picky tonight.

I may be mistaken, but every i.d. plate I have ever seen including the ones pictured have had 6 digit part code #'s??? Mine sure do? I think the guy who's selling the truck added all those options to make a high option truck and is trying to capitolize off of it. I have added tilt, tach and buckets but would never pass them off as factory equipped to my truck by making a "fake" option sheet....Geez some people will try anything for a buck...

Oh I forgot, I have seen blank option sheets for sale at swap meets before for around 20 bucks. Anyone can make their truck a super cheyenne if they know the proper codes.

I think it's a year thing as far as number of option digits...

Every '71 or '72 one I've seen has 6-digit codes...my '70 and my friend's '69 have 3 digit codes.

Yes, it's a '71 cab. Mirror bolted on and check out the tailgate Disc Brakes sticker, a '71 only thing. Somebody is messed up.

It is a very nice pickup and I would gladly trade mine for his, I just think he missed some details, mostly pointed out by the bogus options tag. Some things point to it being a '71, but the doors are '72 parts or are the repops.

Maybe the 3 digit, 6 digit thing has to do with what plant it was assembled at ? That sticker is faker than Pamela Anderson's t!ts. I have no problem with someone adding options or building a fake as long as you tell the truth when you sell it.
