Re: 16" 6-Lug Steel Wheels & Tires

Number98,
Sorry for the delay. I have not been able to find reasonable shipping. Unfortunately, shipping is going to ruin this deal. I will have to back out.

Number98, I hope you don't mind me answering. These wheels do clear disc brakes. I have them on my truck with McGaughys disc brake conversion. There are others on here that are using them with disc brakes also.

Re: 16" 6-Lug Steel Wheels & Tires

I may need a learning lesson. I thought the 3 nub 16 inch rims would not clear disc brakes. I was under the understanding the 4 nub 16 inch rims would clear disc brakes. Are my thoughts wrong? Are there 3 nub 16" rims that clear disc brakes? Bruce

Re: 16" 6-Lug Steel Wheels & Tires

I can't speak to them clearing disc brakes because I have not test fit them on a truck with disc, I have had two board members tell me that they would clear them though.

What's the backspacing? 4" works for disc brake calipers...

I hope I'm not high jacking this thread by answering these questions.

The 3 nub/4 nub rule is true for 15" wheels, but not for 16" wheels. These will clear disc brakes - not because they were made to, because they obviously weren't - but the extra diameter makes them work.

I'm happy to take a pic for you if it help with the sale.

These wheels have a backspacing of 3.5"...at least that's what all of the ones that I've found (10 in total) have.
