Talking Progress made

Got the BBC set in place. Put the serpinetine belt and pulleys on also the headers. Got the cab painted over the weekend.

Got it from march performance. www.marchperf.com

It included the water pump atl. a/c compressor and power steering pump it's the ultra kit. I think it was around $2500. But i had to have it.

shes a beauty

Not to change subject but a few questions on paint. Finally someone who painted rear cab wall and floor. I see a lot of trucks with these areas unpainted. I assume so access can be had to crawl in and paint.

What type and brand of paints did you use on body, frame and motor?

All Dupont

cheyenne10 the engine was painted when i got it.

The frame is Dupont 99Black centari hardened.

The roof is dupont chromabase 817K alt 1
gm code 5111
with a vs1 sealer under coat

The body is dupont chromabase 5183 alt 1
gm code 5190
with a vs4 sealer under coat

The firewall is dupont chromabase 99k base

the cab is clear coated in dupont 7900.

Sorry it took so long but i had to go ask.
