Question rear axle swaps

i just bought a 68 c10 that has coil spring rear end, i also have a 71 c10 for parts. question can i put 71 leaf spring rear end under 68 with out too many mods or maybe axle swap easier?? want to go to 5 lug setup. first time poster long time reader.

I'd try to just swap just the axles. I prefer the trailing arm setup!

Motor only:
6.44 1/8 @ 104.13
10.39 1/4 @ 125.83

Nitrous Times:
5.785 1/8 @ 118.65 with a 1.336 60ft
9.168 1/4 @ 142.58 with a 250 shot dead out of the hole!

Some did, some didnt. The 71 axles are too long to put in 68 housing. You can cut the spring pads off the 71 and weld new pads for the coil springs. Look around your area. You maybe able to find someone to trade for a coil rear end.

on the early classic enterprises web site they have conversion axels you can buy also, not sure the price though

thanks guys for the responce from all. I`ll get er figured out. about the leaf springs in the 71 i have a 71 lwb thats a dailey driver and a 71 lwb parts truck and the both have leaf springs under them.
