Engine Swap

I need some input. I have a 1994 Buick Roadmaster with a LT1 engine, the plan was to use it as a donor car for my 1967. What all can I use off of the Roadmaster and how hard is it to do an engine swap and transmission? I was sure if I could use of the chassis? Any help would be great.

Re: Engine Swap

Motor and trans are close to a bolt in deal. I say close because of the passenger side motor is like upside down compared to normal configuration. Also the the A/C compressor is down too low to clear the frame rail I think but other than those two small little things it is a straight forward swap and I think you may want to try that gas tank as well. I have read that some guys have used a Chevelle tank on these trucks, and I used a Roadmaster tank[Impala SS I think it was] on my 68 lemans convert with the 6.0 ls1. Oh, yeah the tires will make rollers to use while your working on your project or to do some smoky burnouts with!! Jim
