58 GMC Oil filter

Hello.
I am currently hooked on a 58 GMC SBSS with the 270 engine. I am having a hard time finding the right oil filter to fit. Also which is the correct color to paint it with decals and such? Any GMC experts out there?
Also looking for the original style 2 pipe headers.
Great sight by the way! Thanks!

Is the oil filter a remote that mounts on the firewall or inner fender wells? If so I may have one.

58 GMC Filter Element

Thanks for your reply.
My filter is mounted on the passenger sine front of engine. It is the element I am looking for. I ordered a element for a Chev and it is not the same.

Go here: http://www.1955gmc.com/ and then ask Dave... he is very helpful on the GMC stuff. My two cents worth, rico
