Re: intake gasket

It looks like to me that in the first pic, the gasket all the way on hte right goes all the way on the left side, and then in the second pic, the gasket towards the top, you would flip around horrizontally and it would fit. I could obviosly be wrong, adn probably am, but......

Re: intake gasket

I second the RTV. Lots of reliable sources say to skip the end gaskets and just lay a 1/4" bead of RTV sealant on block on both ends. Let the RTV skin, and the set the intake carefully in place. Also make sure you torque the manifold in the proper pattern, from the inside out. BTW, RTV stands for "Room Temperature Vulcanizing" silicone.

Re: intake gasket

You have the right gaskets. Seems to me you're trying to put them in the wrong place. Try them on the block, I bet they'll fit. If your block has holes, use the ones with the studs. If not, use the others. When you get them in place, the ends of the side gaskets will fit in the notches at the ends. I like to use a small amount of RTV where they meet and a thin film around the coolant openings. Just my opinion. Frank
