How to test a steering box

I have 3 steering boxes. Does anyone know how to test them to see if they are good?? Or should I just trade one in for a reman one??

Re: How to test a steering box

Only way you can do it is to install them in a running vehicle unless you can take them to some shop that specializes in that and has the pump to run it with.

It requires quite a bit of hydraulic pressure to move those tires.
