the 78 is about to becaome daily driver after crate notor goes in. What size tires to run on original rally wheels? I know its a silly question but I dont remember what tires where on the truck. It has been sitting for about 10 years. Thanks

depends on the width of the tire 235/75/15 is pretty common but if its an 8in wide Id go 255/60 or 70.

Factory on 15" basic wheel was 235/75/15..... but it's all aobut what you want. I have 15x8s and I have 255/70, I love 'em.

Of course I don't have a good shot of the width of the tread but this one shows the height of a 255/70 pretty good.

255/70-15's are the same diameter as the 235/75's, just a little wider.
