Sanden Polished AC Compressor - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a "lightly" used Sanden SD5 Polished AC compressor for sale. I had it in my truck for about 3 months then converted over to a serpentine system. The cost to get the pulleys switched was almost as much as a whole new compressor so I kept this one. The hazy or uneven finish that shows in the picture is just condensation. I brought it in from the cold to take the pictures. With a bit of polish and 10 minutes of elbow grease, this thing would literally look brand new. Asking $150 plus shipping.

was it 134 or 12? work okay? shipping to 37043. any brackets to mount it to a sb?

It is for R134 refrigerant. The compressor works perfectly... It was only in the truck for a few months. I have a set of Alan Grove brackets that I got with the Vintage Air kit for both the alternator and compressor... I'll throw those in for $20. Will check on shipping this afternoon and get back to you.

Looks like shipping is going to be about $55. I'll sell the compressor and complete bracket set, shipped to 37043 for $210.

FYI you can get a large flat rate box from the USPS and ship anywhere in the US for $12.50, REGARDLESS of weight. I have shipped starters and compressors this way....way cheaper than UPS ground.

Unfortunately, I have to ship with Canada Post. I will check to see if they have someting like this but I don't think so. And, I would never use UPS to ship anything across the border... They rape you on brokerage fees. USPS and Canada Post are great - they broker it across for no charge.
